After 22 Years, Daily Masses Begin

The beginning of Lent, 2011 marks a milestone for the Latin Mass Community at St. Boniface Church in Pittsburgh. Almost 22 years after the return of the Traditional Latin Mass to the Diocese of Pittsburgh (in June 1989), Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be celebrated daily at St. Boniface.

Thanks to Bishop David Zubik, who has made this possible by assigning Father Kenneth Myers to full-time duty as the chaplain of the Latin Mass Community. Thanks also to the pastor of Holy Wisdom Parish, Father Lawrence DiNardo, for his support and cooperation.

The schedule (seen at right and below) is subject to revision, once the attendance at the various Mass times makes clear what schedule makes the Mass most accessible to the largest number of faithful.

Deo Gratias!
