Father Michael Roche - First Mass July 10


Father Michael Roche, ordained on June 25, will offer his first Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form at St. Boniface on Sunday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. The sermon will be given by Father John Naugle (in place of Bishop Walterscheid).

A reception will follow Mass in Norbert Hall.

    Attended Solemn High Mass today. What a wonderful, blessed liturgy it was! Church was packed and steamy hot, but we're glad we were there. We've known Fr. Roche (and his subdeacon, Frederick Gruber) since they were very young. Bless them both for their decision to become priests! Fr. John Naugle served as deacon.

    Father Naugle also gave an EXCELLENT sermon! But what happened to Bishop Walterscheid?
